Charts on different sheets cannot be printed on same page due to design.
Cause:
Multiple chart sheets cannot be printed on the same page, therefore charts on different chart sheets cannot be printed on a single page. This behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel.
Solution:
To print two or more charts on a page, embed the charts on a worksheet and resize them to fit on a single page before printing.
NOTE: The following procedure assumes that all the charts to be printed are already created.
1) Embed all the charts to be printed to a single worksheet:
a) Select (click on) a chart to embed. (Handles appear around the chart.)
b) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy'.
c) Select the worksheet where the chart should be embedded.
NOTE: To select a worksheet, click the tab for that sheet.
d) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'. (The chart is embedded in the worksheet.)
e) Repeat steps 1)a) through 1)d) for all the charts that need to be printed.
2) Move and resize the charts to fit on one page:
a) To move a chart:
1] Select (click on) the chart. (Handles appear around the chart.)
2] Press and hold down the mouse button and drag the chart to the desired location.
b) To resize a chart:
1] Select (click on) the chart. (Handles appear around the chart.)
2] Position the pointer on a handle at the corner. (The pointer changes to a two-way arrow.)
3] Press and hold down the mouse button. (The arrow changes to a cross sign.)
4] Drag until the chart reaches the desired size.
3) (Optional) To see whether and how well the charts fit on a page before they are printed, select the 'File' menu and select 'Print Preview'.
NOTE: Click 'Close' in the preview window to return to the worksheet.
4) Print the page.
